If I am in Costa Rica, how do I request a purchase order (PO) for the Language Program?
For Costa Rica, the process is carried out through the HR Hub by following these steps:

Step 1 Download and complete the form:
Download the Excel file "PO Form template - Language Program - only for Costa Rica", which can be found in the Annexes section of the publication. You must complete all the required fields, which are highlighted in yellow.

Step 2: Generate a case in the HR Hub:
Enter the HR Hub where you must generate a case, attach the PO Form template, requesting that the purchase order be generated.

What do I need to participate in the Program?

Colleague has been with the company for more than one year.

Maintain effective performance, evaluated through annual performance reviews and reflected in Workday.

The language program should be related to the employee's current or future role and contribute to their professional and personal development.

The employee must comply with the rules and policies of the company, the study program, and maintain a high level of quality and professional ethics. He/she should not be in PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) for at least one year or active investigations.

Approve the course or program of study for which the support is requested.

The employee must obtain the approval of his or her direct supervisor.
What languages can I study?
English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Do I need a Purchase Order to participate?
Yes, the PO is compulsory. You cannot register without it.
What is the registrations process?

Colleague and manager discuss the necessity of language course due to local job requirement or development reasons. These courses require 3 hours a week of dedication.

Employees must make sure to submit a written request to his or her manager+1, stating the name, duration, cost, and benefits of the training program.

The colleague must ensure the budget to finance the training.

Manager approves the colleague’s course.

The employee is responsible for creating the Purchase order.

The employees must include the course in their goals for the year, approval of the course and assistance will be part of their year-end performance evaluation.

If the course is not approved, the employee will be notified in writing with specific reasons.
What else should I know before applying for education and enrollment approval?
You must have a development plan in Solventum that aligns with the course that requires sponsorship, have been in the organization for more than a year, and maintain satisfactory performance as reflected in your annual review.
Does Solventum pay Ardor directly?
Yes, it is paid through purchase orders. It is the employee's responsibility to create the purchase order and ensure compliance with local invoicing and receipt requirements.
How long is the program?
The program is 6 months long.
What do I need to do to get the completion Certificate?
You need to do 75% of the online course and participate in 75% of the teacher classes. You also need to pass the tests with a 5/10 (50/100).
Does the amount to be entered in the PO correspond to the total cost of the complete program, or should it be divided according to the months the program lasts?
The total cost of the program should be entered in the PO; it should not be divided by the months of duration.
What happens if my leader informs me there's no budget for the language program?
Let's discuss your career development goals with your leader to explore potential budget availability for the language program in the upcoming year.
Is it possible to enroll in multiple language programs simultaneously?
No, it is not possible to enroll in more than one language program at the same time. We recommend focusing on a single language to ensure effective learning and progress.
Can I sign up for the full year, meaning I can pay for two courses and then take them one after the other?
No, since part of the course commitment is passing the course and obtaining a certificate, we can't know in advance that you've passed and committed to consistent attendance and good grades.
